The Mickey Mantle's Restaurant & Sports Bar operated OVER 25 years and Closed June 5, 2012 (42 Central Park S, New York, NY 10019). The restaurant was a popular watering hole for Yankee fans and was known for its decor of sports memorabilia and art. The restaurant opened in 1988. The great baseball player it was named after died in 1995.
