Berra was selected to the All-Star team every year from 1948 to 1962 and was a three-time American League MVP. He called three no-hitters, one of them Don Larsen's perfect game in the 1956 World Series. Dick Perez is internationally recognized as the preeminent artist within the world of baseball. He had the distinguished honor of being official artist of the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York for over twenty years, and where many of his paintings still hang. One of the most beautiful sets ever issued, Perez-Steele's "Great Moments" set began publication in 1985. The offering was limited to 5,000 numbered sets with periodical updates.
