James McDonald is a former pro baseball pitcher who played six seasons in MLB. He is best known for his time with the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Los Angeles Dodgers between 2008 and 2013. McDonald debuted with the Dodgers in 2008 and transitioned from a reliever to a starting pitcher. Midway through the 2010 season, he was traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates, where he enjoyed his most productive years.
