As a key member of the great Pittsburgh Steelers teams of the 1970s, Franco Harris played in eight Pro Bowls and rushed for 158 yards en route to MVP honors in Super Bowl IX, the first-ever title for the Steelers. He appeared in five AFC championships and four Super Bowls in his 12 years of pro football. His career stats are impressive: 12,120 yards, 91 touchdowns rushing, 2,287 yards, 9 touchdowns receiving and 14,622 combined net yards. Harris was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1990. The Immaculate Reception is one of the most famous plays in the history of American football.
