Don Larsen's most notable accomplishment was pitching the only perfect game (as well as the only no hitter) in the history of the World Series. He was pitching for the New York Yankees in Game 5 of the 1956 World Series against the Brooklyn Dodgers, on October 8, 1956. His perfect game remains the only no-hitter of any type ever pitched in postseason play. Known as much for his catching abilities as his "Yogi-isms," Yogi Berra played on 10 World Series championship teams and appeared in 14 World Series with the New York Yankees. He called three no-hitters, one of them Don Larsen's perfect game in the 1956 World Series. Don Larsen & Yogi Berra have both signed this New York Yankees Perfect Game 8x10 Photo.
